Kanye's 'Yandhi' Album Delayed, Heads To Africa To Record

It's never a quiet week for Ye, but the last few days have been wild even for the recording artist "formally" known as Kanye West.

After delivering a pro-Trump rant on Saturday Night Live, wearing a "Make America Great Again" cap both on and off the air, and going on a tweet spree, Kanye ended the weekend by... not delivering his album.

When the album didn't drop, Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian West announced the new release date via her Twitter.

According to Kim, Yandhi will be now released on November 23, otherwise known as Black Friday.

Meanwhile, Kanye stopped by the TMZ offices to clarify some of his tweets, as well as explaining what the delay was.

"Um, I didn't finish it," West told Harvey Levin. He went on to "explain" that he was informed the album is TOO good.

"A person from my management staff had suggested because the album is so good... I started incorporating sounds that you’ve never heard before," he continued saying his album, Yandhi, features concepts that are never discussed.

"We have concepts talking about body shaming and women being looked down upon for how many people that they’ve slept with," he continued.

"Those five albums that I dropped earlier were like superhero rehabilitation. Now the alien 'Ye' is like fully back in mode, off of medication, working out, breathing as much fresh air as possible, thinking, doing, being himself."

Referring to his "Make America Great Again" hat, West told TMZ , "I can wear whatever I want... because I'm a god".

So that's great.

Following his SNL appearance, Ye's old mate President Donald Trump tweeted in support of his god-like fashion choices.

West also revealed that he plans to head to Africa -- or "what is known as Africa" -- in several weeks to continue recording the album to capture more concepts.

"We have to go to what is known as Africa. I just need to go, I need to find out what it's really called. I need to grab the soil and cook food," West said.

Okay, so now you're all caught up. Great.
