'Enjoy Your Lifetime Supply Of Virginity!': The First Trailer For 'Free Guy' Is Here

The first proper peek at Ryan Reynolds and 'Killing Eve' star Jodie Comer in 'Free Guy' has arrived.

The trailer for the comedic science-fiction thriller just dropped and shows how Reynolds' character begins tiring of his role as a background bank teller in a violent video game.

Waking up every morning to put on a crisp, short-sleeved blue shirt and beige slacks, his character is one of the video game extras that isn't really part of the action. Instead, he's got a boring day job where he generally gets hit by errant getaway cars, shot at by stray bullets and held hostage by the bad guys.

Dame Maggie Smith Says Her Roles In 'Harry Potter' And 'Downton Abbey' Weren't 'Satisfying'

Dame Maggie Smith has revealed that two of her most recognisable roles didn't really get her acting juices flowing.

But living a sort of 'Groundhog Day' meets 'Truman Show' meets 'Grand Theft Auto' meets 'Westworld' existence begins to grind on his character, Guy (get it? Free Guy!) and, as he's witnessing yet another violent robbery at the bank, he decides that "today is going to be different".

Guy fights back a sort of Juggalo-looking baddie at the bank, acquires his magic glasses and realises that he's been existing in a whole universe that's been mostly invisible to him.

"Is this what recreational drugs feel like?" he asks a passerby, wearing his new specs that reveal the dashboard of the video game.

We're then introduced to rule-breaking Antoine (Taika Waititi), Keys (played by Joe Keery), and Milly (Jodie Comer) who pulls two Glocks out of Guy's pants as they spin around on a motorcycle.

The Moment A Crazy Korean Singing Show Exploded Across The Globe

Unless you live in South Korea -- or are a huge K-Pop fan -- it's probably fair to say you'd never heard of a little show called 'The King Of Masked Singer' until just last year.

Milly jokingly tells Guy to "enjoy his lifetime supply of virginity" after he reveals that he's going to be not just the "good Guy but the GREAT Guy" of their universe.

'Free Guy' is still in post-production so we're just going to have to wait until July 2020 to find out if he succeeds or at least gets a new wardrobe.
