Here's How Margot Robbie Paid Tribute To Sharon Tate At Cannes

Attending the Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of 'Once Upon A Time In Hollywood', in which she plays the late actress, Margot Robbie found a simple way to pay tribute to her character.

Walking the carpet with her co-stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, and director Quentin Tarantino, Margot wore a white Chanel dress with delicate floral lace, but it was her hair that caught the eye of Twitter user Evan Ross Katz.

The simple boho 'do framed her face with two loose, untied braids on each side, recreating the exact same style Sharon had worn when she walked the Cannes red carpet with her husband Roman Polanski back in 1968.

In August of 1969, she was murdered by members of the Manson family, which is the time frame Margot Robbie will be portraying in the film, although Tarantino has insisted that "it's not her story".

“It’s not her story, it’s Rick’s story. It’s not even Cliff’s," he said recently, calling her "an angelic presence throughout the movie, she’s an angelic ghost on earth, to some degree, she’s not in the movie, she’s in our hearts.”

'Once Upon A Time In Hollywood' will hit Aussie theatres on August 15.
