'The Greatest Showman' Sequel Is Officially In The Works

Hugh Jackman will be stepping back into the ring to reprise his role as PT Barnum in the next chapter of 'The Greatest Showman'.

The Aussie director of the all-singing, all-dancing film -- Michael Gracey -- confirmed the news in an interview with The Sun.

“When a movie becomes as big a success as this, it’s only natural there is demand for a sequel," he said.

“So those discussions have started and we are working on one right now.”

The Greatest Showman was released in 2017 and has remained a fan favourite thanks to original soundtrack hits like "This Is Me" and "Rewrite The Stars".

Jackman won his first Grammy award this year for The Greatest Showman, leaving him just one Oscar shy of completing his EGOT, the acting grand slam of winning an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony.
