The Dazed And Confused icon plays a stoner burnout in The Beach Bum -- the latest comedy from Harmony Korine, the creator of Kids and Spring Breakers.
It seems only fitting that McConaughey plays a rebellious poet called Moondog who gets caught up in "outrageous misadventures" and only knows how to live life by his own rules, man.
The Beach Bum was filmed in Miami, Florida and features old Moondog smoking a lot of weed, feeding beer to his cats, smashing a damn grand piano and frolicking in a purple g-string on a boat -- until a run in with the law forces him to change his hedonistic ways.
