Melissa McCarthy Nominated For Best Actress A Day After Being Nominated For Worst Actress

It's been a big 24 hours.

On Monday, it was revealed Melissa McCarthy had been nominated for Worst Actress at the Razzies for her work in The Happytime Murders and Life of the Party -- but just one day later, it was announced she would also be up for Best Actress at the Academy Awards for her role in Can You Ever Forgive Me?

Talk about versatility!

The 39th annual Razzies -- which are also known as the Golden Raspberry Awards -- will be giving shoutouts to the worst films of 2018, and are held the night before the prestigious Oscars.

Other Worst Actress Razzie noms this year include Jennifer Garner for her performance in Peppermint, Amber Heard for London Fields, Helen Mirren for Winchester and Amanda Seyfried for The Clapper.

And while it seems bizarre for a star to be nominated for two such polar opposite  awards, it's actually not the first time it's happened.

Back in 2010, sweet dear angel Sandra Bullock won the Razzie for her role in  All About Steve, and -- being the humble, amazing person she is -- actually showed up to accept her Razzie in person!

But that's not the best part. The night after, she nabbed Best Actress at the Oscars for her role as a suburban mother who takes in a homeless teen and guides him to a football career in The Blind Side.

Legends only!

Anyway, whether McCarthy chooses to show up the parody award show remains to be seen.
