Golden Globes 2019: Sandra Oh And Andy Samberg Just Roasted Lady Gaga

There can be 100 jokes in an opening monologue, but you only need one really good one to choke on a glass of water and almost die.

That, dear friends, is what happened to this writer mere moments ago during the Golden Globes opening monologue, when hosts Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg BOTH poked fun at Lady Gaga.

Throughout the press trail for her lead role in A Star Is Born, which is nominated for four Golden Globes today, Gaga delivered a passionate speech about how "there can be 100 people in a room, and 99 of them don't believe in you, but all it takes is one and it just changes your whole life, and that person was Bradley Cooper".

Fans following the coverage of A Star Is Born quickly took note of Gaga's '100 people' speech, and did what they do best -- they meme'd it. Even actress Katharine McPhee referenced it in a selfie earlier in the evening:

As both hosts made reference to her soundbite, the camera cut to Gaga, who yelled "IT'S TRUE!!!" at the hosts from her seat.

Basically? Everyone is screaming.

Feels like "IT'S TRUE" might end up a meme in itself, what do you think?
