Golden Globes 2019: Fans Think Amy Adams Was Robbed
Hello, police? We need to report a robbery.
The Golden Globes are on right now, and viewers are fuming that Amy Adams just lost to Patricia Arquette for Best Lead Actress in a Limited Series or TV movie.
Amy was nominated for her role as Camille Parker in the television adaptation of Gillian Flynn's Sharp Objects, but lost to Patricia for her role in Escape at Dannemora.
Shortly thereafter, she lost the second Golden Globe she was nominated for that night, for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for Vice.
Losing out to Regina King for her role in If Beale Street Could Talk, Regina thanked Amy first "for the prayers", to which Amy mouthed "you're welcome" from the audience.
Still, the snubbery tweets are rolling in, and if we can't enjoy an acceptance speech, at least we can laugh at some good content, right?
