New 6000-Piece LEGO Hogwarts Is The Biggest Harry Potter Set Yet
Ever been sitting on the couch, desperately waiting for your Hogwarts letter to arrive, realise you're almost 30 and should probably get back to real life and like... get to your job on time?
Well brush off those dorito crumbs and call in a sick day because we've got good news: LEGO will soon be releasing a massive Hogwarts-inspired set made up of over 6000 pieces!
Yep, the entire castle plus the Whomping Willow and Hagrid's hut features all the best places to explore like the Chamber of Secrets, the Great Hall, classrooms, the second-floor girls' bathroom (complete with Moaning Myrtle) and much, much more.
The set sounds like a whopper, and it is! At 6,020 pieces and featuring almost 30 microfigures plus four minifigures of Godric Gryffindor, Rowena Ravenclaw, Helga Hufflepuff and Salazar Slytherin. The set is the biggest to be released in the Harry Potter series yet, though it doesn't come close to the 7,541-piece Millennium Falcon model.
The Star Wars ship is LEGO's largest model ever created according to the site, and retailed at over $1000. Meanwhile, the Hogwarts Castle set, which is set to be released in September, sits at just under $650.
It's also the perfect way to keep that Potter-mania at bay while you wait for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, which opens across the country on November 15.
You can check out the full details of the massive upcoming Hogwarts set here, but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a listing for any spell to remove the pain of accidentally stepping on a LEGO piece in the middle of the night.
