Steven Spielberg's Daughter Arrested Following Domestic Dispute
Mikaela Spielberg, who recently announced her plans for a career in the adult industry, has been arrested for domestic assault causing bodily harm.
According to authorities, Steven Spielberg’s adopted 24-year-old daughter and fiancé Chuck Pankow, 47, were drinking at a bar and returned home, where an argument commenced.
After Pankow reportedly made a "rude comment," Mikaela became violent and allegedly began throwing things at him, with one of the objects allegedly hitting Pankow in the hand, resulting in injury.
According to TMZ, both parties admitted to a physical dispute but determined Mikaela was the aggressor, as she reportedly changed her version of the events several times and made conflicting statements, authorities said.
She was later arrested and was charged with domestic assault causing bodily harm and booked into the Hill Detention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, at 6.33am and held on $1,000 bond, and has since been released.
Pankow has reportedly refused to press charges against Mikaela, but officers will be prosecuting on his behalf.
It comes not long after Mikaela announced she had begun self-producing adult videos in the hopes of becoming a dancer at a strip club after obtaining her sex worker license.
Speaking to The Sun at the time, Mikaela said she broke the news to her parents over FaceTime, saying they were more "intrigued" than upset, and that her safety has "always been a number one priority for them."
"I'm doing this, not out of an urge to hurt anybody or be spiteful about it, I'm doing this because I want to honour my body in a way that's lucrative," she said.
"I actually think that once they see how far I've come from the bottom I was at a year and a half ago, they're going to look at this and go, 'Wow, we actually raised a really self-assured young lady."
Describing herself as a “sexual creature,” Mikaela explained she “got really tired of not being able to capitalise on my body and, frankly, I got really tired of being told to hate my body".
She continued, “I also just got tired of working day-to-day in a way that wasn’t satisfying my soul.
I feel like doing this kind of work, I’m able to ‘satisfy’ other people, but that feels good because it’s not in a way that makes me feel violated.”
