Pamela Anderson Just Split With Her Husband After 12 Days Of Marriage

Pamela Anderson has announced that she's parting ways with her new husband, less than two weeks after they tied the knot.

Anderson and movie producer Jon Peters wed in a secret ceremony in Malibu just 12 days ago but have already decided that married life just wasn't working out.

The couple got married on January 20, with Anderson writing in a statement that they were both taking some time to "re-evaluate" their decision to get hitched.

"I have been moved by the warm reception to Jon and my union," Anderson wrote in the statement that was published by The Hollywood Reporter.

"We would be very grateful for your support as we take some time apart to re-evaluate what we want from life and from one another," she said, adding that "life is a journey and love is a process".

Luckily, it seems that Pam and Jon's celebrant hadn't popped their official marriage paperwork in the mail yet, so they won't have to seek an annulment or divorce -- although it seems they might leave the door open for reconciliation.

Health Chief Slams Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop As Promoting 'Quacks, Charlatans And Cranks'

The chief executive of Britain's National Health Service says Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle brand Goop gives prominence to "quacks, charlatans and cranks".

"We have mutually decided to put off the formalisation of our marriage certificate and put our faith in the process. Thank you for respecting our privacy," the statement concluded.

It's the second time the couple has broken up, although the last time was more than 30 years ago, when they briefly dated in the '80s.

The recent marriage between Anderson and Peters was the fifth time Pammy tied the knot and the fourth time that Jon had said, 'I do'.

Anderson has previously been married to musos Tommy Lee, Kid Rock and twice to poker player Rick Salomon.

Peters has previously been married to actor Lesley Ann Warren ('Victor/Victoria'), producer Christine Peters ('How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days') and had a high-profile relationship with Barbra Streisand.
