'He's Here!': Alanis Morissette Welcomes Baby Boy, Names Him Winter Mercy

Alanis Morissette has welcomed her third child with her husband Mario Treadway.

Alanis Morissette, 45, and husband Mario "Souleye" Treadway have revealed over Instagram that they officially have welcomed their youngest son, Winter Mercy, into the world.

Posting an adorable black-and-white snap of the sleeping newborn, Alanis captioned the sweet image, "he’s here. ✨🙌🏻🙏🏻❤️ Winter Mercy Morissette-Treadway. #8/8/19 #mywholelifeidreamedoflovingyouthree #😭❤"

Treadway, 39, also shared a photo of their latest addition to their family, adding in his caption, “@alanis You will forever be my heroine. thank you for your warrior strength and ability to so deeply love,” and sharing that Winter, like the pair's other two children, was birthed at home.

The singer first revealed she was expecting her third child back in March when she uploaded a snap to Instagram that showcased her growing baby bump while recording music in the studio.

"So much NEWness..." she captioned the black-and-white photograph.

The "You Outta Know" songstress has long been open about her struggles with postpartum depression after giving birth to her older children, saying to PEOPLE in September 2017, “There are days I’m debilitated to the point where I can barely move."

"As a kid, I imagined having children and being with an amazing partner. This is a whole other wrench I didn’t anticipate."

Along with Winter Mercy, Alanis and Mario -- who have been married since May 2010 -- are also parents to 3-year-old daughter Onyx Solace and son Ever Imre, 8.
