'Men In Black' Star Rip Torn Has Died Age 88
The actor known for his roles in the 'Men In Black' films, 'Dodgeball' and 'The Larry Sanders Show' has died, a representative confirmed.
Torn was surrounded by his wife and daughters as he died peacefully at his home in Connecticut aged 88, his publicist announced on Wednesday.
The Emmy winner and Oscar and Tony-nominated actor was known for his variety of roles, appearing in over 80 feature films and 10 Broadway plays, as well as a slew of television appearances and roles.

Torn won the Emmy for his role on the HBO series 'The Larry Sanders Show' where he played Artie, a role he was nominated for every season, winning in 1996. The role of Artie brought Torn into what his reps called "a late life resurgence" resulting in his massive and impressive filmography.
Following the announcement of his death, there was an outpouring of tributes on social media celebrating his diverse career across stage and screen.
Torn is survived by his wife, Amy Wright, and his six children, sister Patricia Alexander and his four grandchildren.
