Disney Star Cameron Boyce Has Died Age 20
Disney actor Cameron Boyce has passed away.
The 'Descendants' actor's family confirmed in a statement provided to ABC in the US that he died in his sleep over the weekend due to "an ongoing medical condition".
"It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron," the statement provided by the Boyce family's spokesperson.
It continued: "He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated. The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him.
"We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother."

Boyce had last posted a headshot on Instagram just the day before his death and fans have since flooded his social media with comments.
"This can’t be real. You were just posting. You had so much left to go," filmmaker Gilbert Sosa wrote.
Disney CEO Robert Iger, Adam Sandler, Hozier and Zendaya were among the many to pen heartfelt tributes to the late star, with Sandler -- who played Boyce’s father in the movie 'Grown Ups' and 'Grown Ups 2' -- remembering Boyce as "the nicest, most talented" person.
“Too young. Too sweet. Too funny. Just the nicest, most talented, and most decent kid around,” he wrote on Twitter. “Loved that kid. Cared so much about his family. Cared so much about the world. Thank you, Cameron, for all you gave to us. So much more was on the way. All our hearts are broken. Thinking of your amazing family and sending our deepest condolences.”
Boyce was best known for his roles on the 'Descendents' series, 'Jessie' and 'General Hospital: Night Shift'.
In 2010 he starred as Adam Sandler's character's son in 'Grown Ups' and reprised his role as Keithie Feder in the film's 2013 sequel.
