Karlie Kloss Says Having Ivanka Trump As A Sister-in-Law Is 'Hard'
The Victoria's Secret model is married to Joshua Kushner, the brother of Ivanka Trump's husband, Jared.
Speaking in a new interview with British Vogue, Karlie Kloss opened up about having ties to the controversial Trump family, despite her openly liberal views.
“It’s been hard,” Karlie said. “But I choose to focus on the values that I share with my husband, and those are the same liberal values that I was raised with and that have guided me throughout my life.”
It's not the first time the model has spoken out about her political leanings. In an interview with The New York Times last September, she revealed that she and husband Joshua are liberals -- which we're sure made for awkward dinner conversation at the Kushner household, given that Jared is a key member of President Trump's inner circle.

“Josh and I share a lot of the same liberal values that guide our lives and the things we stand for,” she said to the publication, in a similar vein to her British Vogue interview. “We’ve really grown together personally and professionally [over our six years dating]. Josh knows that I’m just a nerdy, curious human being. I think that’s why he loves me. We have each other’s back.”
Karlie and Joshua had been dating since 2012 before tying the knot in October 2018 in upstate New York. Last weekend -- eight months after the nuptials -- the pair continued their wedding celebrations with a larger group of friends in picturesque Wyoming from Friday to Sunday.
Ivanka and Jared reportedly visited the couple in Wyoming on Thursday night, the day before the festivities kicked off.
