Justin Bieber Doesn't Actually Want To Fight Tom Cruise, Apparently

He probably finally got around to watching 'Mission Impossible'.

In what continues to be one of the stranger stories of the week, Justin Bieber has revealed to paparazzi that he was "only playing" when he randomly decided to challenge Tom Cruise to fight him over Twitter.

According to TMZ, paps caught up with the star as he was leaving Hailey's fashion line office, saying he was joking and that the action star would "kick his a**".

On Wednesday -- out of nowhere -- the singer tweeted his desire to fight Cruise, which was understandably met with confusion by fans.

"I wanna challenge Tom Cruise to fight in the octagon. Tom if you don't take this fight your [sic] scared and you will never live it down. Who is willing to put on the fight?" Biebs wrote, tagging UFC president Dana White.

Connor McGregor soon got among the weird challenge, retweeting Bieber's tweet and saying, "If Tom Cruise is man enough to accept this challenge, McGregor Sports and Entertainment will host the bout. Does Cruise have the sprouts to fight like he does in the movies? Stay tuned to find out!"

While JB may be young and relatively fit, that didn't stop literally everyone from suggesting that 56-year-old Cruise would annihilate the "Sorry" singer if push came to shove between the pair.

"Tom is still in amazing athletic shape. He does all his own stunts. And he’s had so much more training OF ALL KINDS than Bieber," one user wrote, while another added, "55 years old or not, pretty sure Tom Cruise would have kicked his arse".
