Rihanna Is Now The Richest Female Musician In The World

Rihanna has once again made histoRIH.

Singer, actress, designer and makeup mogul Rihanna has once again proved she's the baddest b*tch in the game, with the news that the 31-year-old is officially the world's highest paid female in the music industry.

With the release of Forbes' America's Richest Self-Made Women for 2019, Riri took the crown as the highest-paid woman in music, with her estimated worth being an eye-watering $600 million.

To put that into context, that's more than the estimated worth of Madonna, who is worth $570 million, Celine Dion at an estimated $450 million, and Beyoncé at $400 million.

According to Forbes, the star's wealth comes as a result of her business ventures -- particularly her partnership with LVMH, the luxury goods conglomerate -- rather than her music career, with Fenty Beauty reportedly generating an estimated $570 million in revenue and worth more than $3 billion overall.

“Fenty Beauty racked up a reported $100 million in sales in its first few weeks, propelled by Rihanna’s fame and 71 million Instagram followers,” the profile on Forbes' website explained.

"I just want to see things from my perspective. I'm a young black woman who loves and embraces all of the young people's ideas and energies -- I'm so about that," the star told AFP in Paris at her fashion launch. "It is about turning all of that into something luxurious for this fashion house."

It comes after yesterday's news that Rihanna's mentor and friend Jay-Z had officially become hip hop's first billionaire, due to to the rapper's various business ventures, art collections and real estate.
