Reality Star's Sons Removed After Husband Shoots Pet Dog
David Eason allegedly killed reality star Jenelle Evans' dog after it bit their 2-year-old daughter in the face.
Following the distressing event, it has now been revealed by TMZ that CPS’ orders stated that two of Jenelle’s children, nine-year-old Jace, and four-year-old Kaiser, have been removed from the reality star's care.
Evans shares Jace with ex-boyfriend Andrew Lewis, while Kaiser is shared with another ex, Nathan Griffin.
"I guess there was a dispute with my ex-fiancée and her husband and he shot a dog. And there’s been multiple 911 calls of abuse," Griffin had said in a 911 call after news broke that Eason had viciously killed the family dog, Nugget.
"And I’m just trying to figure out where my son’s at and what I should do in this situation right now. I’m just so confused right now … I just want to make sure my son is safe."
As for Evans and Eason's 2-year-old daughter, Ensley -- who was allegedly bit by the dog who Eason later killed -- according to the website, she is still currently residing at home, "partly because authorities believe it's treacherous to enter the property given David's temper combined with his firepower," TMZ said.
North Carolina Columbus County Child Protective Services has ordered that Jace cannot return to Evans' family home, and will remain with her mother, Barbara Evans. CPS is also not allowing Evans to have her visitation rights until CPS completes its investigation.
“My mum is keeping Jace from me, nobody else,” Evans told Us Weekly. “I only had Ensley with me for Mother’s Day this year. And my mom is taking it out on me for being let go from MTV.”
She added, “Kaiser was taken away Friday without my consent, before Mother’s Day, and I have been in touch with my lawyer pertaining this matter,” she confirmed.
“Kaiser was taken from his daycare by his grandmother [Nathan Griffith’s mother, Doris] with no notice or call to me. CPS told Doris to take Kaiser without my consent and still have no legal paperwork signed by the judge stating my kids are taken from me," she continued.
The news comes after MTV revealed that Evans had been fired from 'Teen Mom 2' following the tragic event, while Eason had been cut from the series as of February 2018.
“MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of ‘Teen Mom 2’ with him since. Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season,” an MTV spokesperson told Variety in a statement last Wednesday.
On May 1st, Evans confirmed the death Nugget, saying she is “speechless” and “so sorry.”
“Nugget… I’m crying everyday. I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless,” she wrote on Instagram. “You were my side kick and knew the moment I felt bad and would cuddle with me. You still had a lot to learn and a lot to grow from your lessons. Everyday I wake up you’re not here, when I come home you’re not here, when I go to bed… you’re not here. You’re gone forever and there’s no coming back.”

Following the firing, Evans' management said she had been focused on her marriage and family.
“Jenelle is focusing on her family and moving forward,” they told PEOPLE in a statement. “She is very grateful and appreciative of the opportunity MTV have given her and her family for the last 10 years. It is sad to part ways in this matter but this isn’t the end of Jenelle Evans or her family.”
