Rhea Perlman Will Never Divorce Ex Danny DeVito Despite Their Separation
The pair separated in 2017 after more than four decades together.
Despite calling quits on their marriage two years ago, Rhea Pearlman has revealed that she has no plans to divorce estranged husband Danny DeVito.
Appearing on 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen', the 71-year-old opened up about her relationship with the 'Dumbo' star when a fan called in asking how the pair made still remained friends.
“I don’t know why it’s difficult for other people, but Danny and I have always loved each other and we have three amazing children together,” Perlman said. “We really agree on almost everything important.”
"You know, we were together for 40 years. 40 years is a long time, you might have to do something else!”
When host Cohen asked how often they keep in touch, Perlman replied, “A lot. We talked today.”

She added that following the separation, she and DeVito are in a far better place than they were when they were married.
“It’s not in his face or in mine. It was a hard transition… but everything smoothed out,” she explained. “Everybody’s got a good relationship with Danny, and with me and each other. That’s all we care about.”
DeVito reiterated that the pair had reached a point of great friendship, telling People that he and Pearlman have remained “very close.”
“We’re friends,” says DeVito. “We’re happy. Everybody’s happy.”
Danny and Rhea began dating 1971 and married in January 1982. The pair have three children together: Lucy, 36, Grace, 34, and Jacob, 32.
