'Our Royal Baby': Amy Schumer Welcomes First Child With Husband Chris Fischer
It's been a big day for babies!
Just as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their little bundle of joy today, so too did comedian Amy Schumer and husband Chris Fischer.
Just yesterday, the star announced the sex of their bub over Instagram, telling followers they were expecting a baby boy.
Schumer revealed the news of their bub's arrival over Instagram on Monday, May 6, posting a photo of herself and Fischer with their new addition. “10:55 p.m. last night,” she wrote in the caption. “Our royal baby was born.”
Schumer had long kept fans informed about her pregnancy, previously revealing she had suffered hyperemesis gravidarum, a pregnancy complication characterised by severe nausea -- the very same that Kate Middleton suffered from throughout her pregnancies.
“I am in the hospital. I’m fine. Baby’s fine but everyone who says the 2nd trimester is better is not telling the full story. I’ve been even more ill this trimester,” the 'Trainwreck' actress wrote in November.
“I have hyperemesis and it blows. Very lucky to be pregnant but this is some bulls–t! Sending so much love to the doctors and nurses taking great care of me and Tati! They are cool as hell!”
Meanwhile -- in true Amy Schumer fashion -- on her way to give birth, the star was seen sneaking some snaps on the site where workers were setting up for today's Met Gala.
“Met look this year. Last night on the way to the hospital,” she wrote alongside the pics.
