'Cloud Atlas' Actress Dies At Age 16
Mya-Lecia Naylor star of the British children's television channel CBBC has died suddenly at 16 years-old.
Naylor appeared in shows such as Millie Inbetween, Almost Never and Absolutely Fabulous.
She also starred in Cloud Atlas as Miro alongside actors such as Halle Berry, Tom Hanks, and Hugo Weaving.
A&J Management, Naylor's talent agency, stated that she was "hugely talented" and that they would "miss her greatly".
The CBBC issued a statement confirming her death on their website, stating that Naylor was a "much-loved part of the BBC Children's family, and a hugely talented actress, singer and dancer".
It is not yet known how the actress died.
CBBC has posted advice on their Twitter page for parents whose children may be upset by the news of Naylor's death.
There has been an outpouring of grief from actors and workers from the film and TV industry, including Game of Thrones star Nathalie Emmanuel who belongs to the same talent agency and said while she did not know her personally, she wanted to send her condolences "to her family, friends and colleagues at this difficult time".
Naylor's fans have also posted comments on her Instagram photos expressing their sadness at her passing.
