Elon Musk Dropped A Rap About Harambe The Gorilla
Entrepreneur, engineer... and Soundcloud rapper?
Elon Musk has added being a rapper to his evergrowing resume after he dropped a surprise rap on Soundcloud about Harambe, the Cincinnati Zoo gorilla who was killed in 2016 after a three-year-old climbed into its living area.
The tune, which is called 'RIP Harambe' and goes for two minutes was uploaded under the label “Emo G Records.”
Posting the clip to his Twitter account, Musk captioned it: "I’m disappointed that my record label failed."
The autotuned track has since been played a whopping 320,000 times, featuring the lyrics:
“RIP Harambe, sipping on some Bombay, we on our way to heaven, Amen, Amen,” Musk sings on the track. “RIP Harambe, smoking on some strong, hey, in the gorilla zoo and we thinking about you.”
His musical efforts haven't gone unnoticed by industry big wigs, with Rolling Loud and hip-hop podcast No Jumper's official Twitter accounts tweeting about the banger.
