Justin Bieber Asks His Fans To Pray For His Mental Health
Justin Bieber posted a snap on Instagram, telling fans that he's been "struggling a lot" in recent times.
Posting a photo of himself praying with manager Scooter Braun and Kanye West before a performance in 2016, Bieber shared that he "wanted to keep [his fans] updated a little bit," adding that he hoped that his own journey would "resonate" with fans.
The 25-year-old went on to write that he's "just feeling super disconnected and weird" recently.
"I always bounce back so I’m not worried," he continued, "just wanted to reach out and ask for your guys to pray for me. God is faithful and ur prayers really work thanks .. the most human season I’ve ever been in facing my stuff head on.."
Bieber and his wife Hailey are devout members of the Evangelical Hillsong church, which has gained a lot of popularity with Hollywood celebs in recent years, becoming the church of choice for the Kardashian-Jenners, Chris Pratt and Selena Gomez.
In recent months, Bieber has been photographed crying in public multiple times. In February, a source told E! Online that he's been "battling depression" and "having a difficult time".
"He really wants to get better," the source said. "He has been seeking all the help he can get."
The source went on to reveal that he's been undergoing therapy and that Hailey has been "doing whatever she can" to support him.
"She's very involved in his plan of action and making decisions," a second source told E! "She's the rock right now and he goes to her for everything. She listens and is always there for him. Hailey has known about his struggles for a long time. He has dealt with depression before and this is not new to her. [She] "knows it's not about her and their marriage is solid."
