CSI Actress Lisa Sheridan Mysteriously Found Dead
CSI: Miami and Invasion actress Lisa Sheridan has been found dead aged 44.
Sheridan was found dead in her home in New Orleans on Monday. The news was confirmed by her manager Mitch Clem on Wednesday evening.
Clem told People magazine: “We all loved Lisa very much and are devastated by the loss we all feel."
Sheridan's family and team are now waiting for a coroner's ruling on the cause of her death. Clem denied Sheridan took her own life.
Sheridan starred in CSI: Miami, Invasion, Journeyman The Mentalist and also featured in Halt and Catch Fire and Scandal.
She was engaged to Sex And The City actor Ron Livingston in the early 2000s. The pair started dating in 2000 before quickly becoming engaged. They spilt in 2003.
Tributes to Sheridan have flowed in over social media since the news of her passing broke.
Filmmaker Michael Dunaway described Sheridan as his soulmate. He said they met over thirty years ago and that he was a big brother figure in her life.
"We were immediately attached at the hip, true soulmates from minute one. For the rest of the days of her life, she was a central part of mine," Dunaway wrote on Instagram.
Baywatch actress Donna D'Errico also paid tribute to Sheridan. The pair worked together on film Only God Can five years ago.
"It’s so rare to find kind, gentle souls like hers in this industry, this city...even this world. Truly one of the most genuinely sweet and gentle people I’ve ever come across in my life," D'Errico wrote.
Details about Sheridan's funeral are yet to be released.
