Pete Davidson Kicked Out A Heckler Who Made Mac Miller Joke At His Show
Pete Davidson had no time for an audience member who made an insensitive joke about late rapper Mac Miller during his comedy performance.
According to Page Six, during the show in New Jersey on Monday, Davidson joked, “So a funny thing happened to me recently in my apartment. My friend died of a heart attack.”
Before he could get to the punchline, a rowdy audience member yelled out “Mac Miller!”
The comment didn't go down well with the Saturday Night Live comedian, who immediately stopped the show to find the perpetrator.
"Oh Jesus Chris, who’s that guy? We’re getting him out,” Davidson said.
“I will wait. I will wait. I will not continue until that kid’s gone. I won’t deal with that shit at my shows.”
Miller, who died in September last year following a drug overdose, had dated Davidson's ex-partner Ariana Grande for several years.
“I’ll leave,” Davidson continued.
“So if you want the show to continue, call out the person who did it. We’ll give him his money back and get him the fuck out. I don’t deal with that shit at my shows."
"Seriously, if you sit next to the person who did that, call him out cause I’ll just leave right now. I don’t give a shit. I’m not making that much money for this show. This show is just for fun. I’m not gonna have that shit at my shows. I’ve had to deal with that enough.”
After security escorted the audience member out of the show, Davidson seemed irritated over the disruption to his set.
"I hope you’re proud of yourself. You just fucking fucked up everything... you’re going to make it weird,” Davidson said to the audience member.
“Make sure he gets his money back too because I don’t want his money,” Davidson told security.
“If you can, throw it at him. Seriously.”
