Lady Gaga And Bradley Cooper's Close 'Shallow' Performance Sends Fans Into Meltdown

The 'A Star Is Born' stars brought the audience to their feet with the rousing performance of the Oscar-nominated song.

The 91st Academy Awards featured all of the nominees for Original Song including Gaga and Cooper's reunion to perform "Shallow" the breakout song from their film A Star Is Born and it was almost as emotional as it was in the film itself.

Gaga performed "Shallow" at the Grammys -- on the same night where the track won the awards for Best Visual Media Song and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance -- but her director and co-star was over at the BAFTA Awards so he couldn't join her onstage.

This isn't the first time Cooper has joined Gaga onstage to perform the smash hit from the film, in January he surprised audiences at her "Enigma" show in Vegas, with the crowd absolutely losing their minds at the cameo.

It's also not the first time Gaga has performed on the Oscars stage, back in 2016 she sang "Til It Happens To You" and was joined onstage with survivors of abuse. In 2015 she sang a slightly less impactful but still iconic medley from The Sound of Music.

It was arguably one of the biggest moments of the night with fans absolutely going wild for the reunion and the incredible performance.

The pared down performance was a change of pace for Gaga after her more rock-styled Grammys version of the smash single. The track has also spent over 100 weeks at the top of the iTunes worldwide chart, topping the likes of Adele's "Hello".

The performance received a massive standing ovation from the crowd as the pair shared a microphone getting very up close with each other.
