Gaga gave testimony in September 2017, explaining that Kesha had confided in her over the years about being allegedly abused by Lukas "Dr. Luke" Gottwald.
The deposition has been obtained by The Blast and shows the heated exchange that went down between Gaga and Gottwald's lawyers -- at one point she tells an attorney, "You should be ashamed of yourself".
Lady Gaga -- referred to as Ms. Germanotta in the documents -- is introduced by her lawyers as a "sex abuse survivor" and that the deposition had proved to be a "trigger event" for her.
Gaga then confirmed that Kesha had "told me he [Dr Luke] assaulted her" and hit back at a lawyer who commented that "there are people who are falsely accused of rape, aren't there?"
"..How about all of the women that are accused of being liars and how she was slut shamed in front of the world, how about that?” Lady Gaga asked.
Lady Gaga then went on to describe her relationship with Kesha and how the "Woman" singer had confided in her musical peer about the alleged abuse by Dr. Luke.
"I have factual knowledge of her depression. I have factual knowledge of her need for support and love. I have factual knowledge of the spiral that I watched that girl go down. I have factual knowledge of trauma. I am informed and intelligent about this issue. That girl has experienced serious trauma and she is in the middle of the right now. And you are all a party to it,” Gaga said.
The "Joanne" singer then asked: “Why on earth would this girl tell the entire world this happened?" of Kesha's allegations against Dr. Luke.
"Why on earth? Do you know what it’s like for survivors? Do you know what it’s like to tell people? Don’t you roll your eyes at me. You should be ashamed of yourself.”
The legal battle is ongoing.
