Bebe Rexha Says Designers Are Won't Dress Her For The Grammys Coz She's 'Too Big'
Lord help the rest of us then.
Singer Bebe Rexha has come out swinging on Instagram, speaking out about her frustration over designers that are unwilling to dress her for being a size 8 (that's an Aussie size 12) for the upcoming 61st Annual Grammy Awards, where she's up for best new artist.
“So, I finally get nominated at the Grammys and it’s, like, the coolest thing ever. And a lot of times, artists will go and talk to designers and they’ll make them custom dresses to walk the red carpet," the 29-year-old began.

"A lot of times artists will go and talk to designers, and they'll make them custom dresses to walk the red carpet, right?" she explained, adding, "You go to any big designer. I had my team hit out a lot of designers, and a lot of them do not want to dress me because I'm 'too big.' Literally, I'm 'too big.'"
"If a size 6/8 [AU 10/12] is 'too big' then I don’t know what to tell you," Rexha said.
"Then I don’t want to wear your f***ing dresses, 'cause that's crazy. You're saying that all the women in the world that are a size 8 [AU 12] and up are not beautiful and they cannot wear your dresses. To all the people that said that I’m thick and I can't wear [your] dresses, f*** you, I don’t want to wear your f***ing dresses."
In the caption for the clip, she wrote, "I'm sorry, I had to get this off my chest. If you don’t like my fashion style or my music that’s one thing. But don’t say you can’t dress someone that isn’t a runway size. Empower women to love their bodies instead of making girls and women feel less than by their size. We are beautiful any size! Small or large! Anddddd my size 8 [AU 12] ass is still going to the Grammys."
