Anna Faris Joked That She Wants To Officiate Chris Pratt’s Wedding

Anna Faris revealed how she found out that her ex-husband had proposed to girlfriend Katherine Schwarzenegger.

Faris explained on her Unqualified podcast that Pratt sent her a text message to tell her that he was getting hitched again.

“Sweet Chris, my ex, got engaged to Katherine today and I’m so happy for them,” Faris said. “I knew that it was gonna happen, and I love her and I love him. I’m just so happy that they found each other.”

The Mom star added that she jokingly tried to muscle her way into officiating the couple's wedding ceremony.

"Chris texted me this morning and he was like, you know, I proposed to Katherine last night," she explained.

"And I was like ahhh, that’s amazing. And I texted him back like, just want to remind you I’m an ordained minister!”

Faris and Pratt broke up in November 2017 after eight years of marriage, and continue to co-parent their five-year-old son Jack together.

Pratt proposed to Schwarzenegger after less than a year of dating, writing on Instagram that he was "thrilled" to be marrying the author and eldest child of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver.

Faris noted on her most recent podcast ep -- featuring current Bachelor Colton Underwood -- that there was no animosity between her and Pratt following their divorce.

“The truth is there isn’t any bitterness, and I’m just so happy that we’re all really happy,” she said

“I do want to congratulate Chris and Katherine,” she later added. “I do love you and congratulations and I’m thrilled. They’re both f***ing amazing people and I’m so happy.”
