Carrie Bickmore 'Absolutely Besotted' With Baby Girl
The Project host Carrie Bickmore has given birth to a baby girl.
Bickmore made the announcement on her social media with her partner Chris.
"We are absolutely besotted with you," she said.
The couple named their latest addition Adelaide -- or 'Addie' as her new siblings already call her.
Already a doting mum to 10-year-old Oliver from her marriage to late husband Greg Lange as well as 3-year-old Evie, The Project co-host first announced that she and partner Chris Walker were expecting another bub in an adorable video posted to her Instagram in June.
Earlier in the year, Bickmore opened up about her anguish over suffering two devastating miscarriages.
The congratulations over the family's baby news have started pouring in from friends and fans.
Her Project co-host Peter Helliar commented on her happy snap saying "Welcome Little Addie."
"Look forward to hanging with you in production meetings soon!! They're really fun," Helliar joked.
Studio 10 host Sarah Harris said she loved her name, adding "you look so happy and beautiful."
Aussie stars Megan Gale and Natalie Bassingthwaighte were also among the well-wishers.
Bickmore wrapped up her hosting role on The Project just a few weeks ago, before heading into maternity leave.
"I always feel genuinely sad leaving a job I love and work family who I genuinely enjoy spending time with," she said at the time.
"But on the other hand I am so excited (and slightly terrified) heading off to have another bub and spend precious time with my beautiful family."
Bickmore also reassured fans she would be back on The Project desk in the new year.
