Hugh Jackman Announces World Tour

This is the greatest show, man!

Wolverine is going on a world tour!

Yep, this week Hugh Jackman announced he would be launching a summer concert tour, The Man. The Music. The Show.

Jackman, along with a 26-piece orchestra and 30 or so dancers, will perform songs from some of his big musical projects like Les Mis, The Boy From Oz and -- of course -- The Greatest Showman.

The "world" tour kicks off in Germany, weaving its way through Europe across Switzerland, France, England and Ireland before heading to the United States where it ends.

So... um... it's a European and North American world tour. We're not mad, Hugh, we're just... you know... going to buy you a map for Christmas.

Announcing the tour on the US Today show, Jackman called it a "dream come true".

"I've done [a tour] in Australia, but now I'm going to go around the world," he said.

"I'm singing, I'm dancing, I'm telling stories..." he said before also hinting that some of the songs he'd be singing would be from things he didn't even get cast for. Imagine being the casting agent that passed on HUGH JACKMAN.

Jackman also promised the tour would be a bit of a reunion for some of his old castmates with Keala Settle, the actor who played the bearded lady of "This Is Me" fame from Greatest Showman, joining him on a few legs of the tour.
