Taylor Lautner Says Kendall Jenner Was His Hair Inspo For 'Twilight'
Taylor Lautner has joked that his long, luscious tresses in 'Twilight' were all thanks to a member of the Kardashian-Jenner fam.
Lautner played the hunky Jacob Black in the teen vampire series and -- before he makes his full transformation into a werewolf -- is pictured with the type of locks you'd see in a shampoo commercial.
Look at those soft waves!
Lautner has now revealed that Kendall Jenner was the inspiration behind the iconic hairdo in an Instagram post celebrating the ten-year anniversary of the release of Twilight.
"I thought I should take this moment to thank every single fan who has supported the franchise over the last decade but also to thank Kendall Jenner for being my hair inspo back in 07," Lautner wrote.
"Thank you fans. And thank you Kendall," he said.
If you've been trying to do the maths in your head to work out whether Kendall could have possibly been anyone's hair icon a decade ago, let us help you out.
Jenner turned 13 in 2007, which is the same year that Keeping Up With The Kardashians first went to air. So it's entirely plausible that Lautner saw an episode of the reality series and promptly asked the Twilight hair team to give his character the Kendall 'do.
Either that or Lautner's just a massive fan of this meme about how tucking long hair behind your ears can end up looking just a little bit dorky.
But like, adorably dorky.
Kendall is yet to respond to Taylor's post but let's take a moment to appreciate just how good he looked in long wigs circa 2008/2009 -- particularly this appearance on Saturday Night Live with comedian Jenny Slate.
Bring back the long locks, Taylor!
