Meet The Iconic New Play School Presenters

There's a bear in there...

Get ready to look through the arched window at the brand new Play School presenters joining Jemima, Big Ted and Humpty.

Actors Hunter Page-Lochard, Kiruna Stamell and Kaeng Chan have made their debut on the long running show via a super cute welcome video on Facebook.

The new presenters set to be asking what time it is on the Rocket Clock are already a huge hit with fans of the show, with parents and carers already in love with the new recruits.

"Awesome to see such diversity," one Facebook user wrote.

Fans will recognise Page-Lochard from ABC TV's Cleverman, as well as roles in films such as The Sapphires and Bran Nu Dae.

The actor said that he grew up watching Play School and the show taught him "other ways of being creative, like using things in the house to make things and help [his] imagination continue to grow."

Stamell appeared in Baz Luhrmann's Moulin Rouge and danced in the Sydney Olympics opening ceremony.

She wrote on the Play School website about being born with dwarfism and why she's "much shorter than the other grown-up presenters on Play School".

"Everyone is different but we all have many more things about us that are the same," she said. "When we get to know each other better, I can't wait to find out what we have between us that is the same."

Chan has a background in theatre and said that "there's something just so extra special" about joining the list of Play School presenters.

"Playing with toys, telling stories, singing and dancing? It's my inner child's dream come true!"

Hunter, Kiruna and Kaeng will follow in the footsteps of iconic Play School presenters including Deborah Mailman, Rhys Muldoon, Noni Hazlehurst and Justine Clarke.
