Ariana Grande Defends New Song About Pete Davidson, Shuts Down Fan

Ari takes the term ‘whirlwind romance’ to a whole new level.

In just one month, Ariana Grande went from single, to dating Pete Davidson, to engaged, to moving in with the SNL star – and now she’s even made a song about him.

Dropping a snippet of the track to her Instagram, the song is called ‘Pete,’ and it's set to appear on her new album Sweetener.

While many have criticised the Dangerous Woman songstress for moving her relationship at lightning speed, Ari proved she DGAF what the haters have to say, after she clapped back at a fan over Twitter for calling her ‘dumb’.

“'Pete' girl we know you love him but are you dumb,” one Twitter user told the singer, who hit back with a blunt, “nah.”

She added, “Forreal. the truth is ☕ i been the fuck thru it and life’s too short to be cryptic n shit about something as beautiful as this love I’m in. so ǝʇǝԀ [pete] it is.”

Following her break up with rapper Mac Miller in May after two years of dating, Ari has made no attempt to hide her infatuation for her new love, even captioning a photo on her Instagram, “I am but a Pete Davidson update acc stay tuned for more.”

Pete, also 23, previously dated blogger Cazzie David for nearly three years, with reports he hooked up with Ariana while the pair were ‘on a break’.
