Did Prince Charles Just 'Flip The Bird' At Donald Trump?
When Prince Charles officially greeted Donald Trump at Buckingham Palace, he appeared to salute him with only his middle finger.
The Trumps were the last couple to be welcomed to the Palace by the Queen, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla for an official reception during the NATO Summit in London.
The US President and his wife Melania stood and spoke with the royals before they walked together into the event. During the brief exchange, Prince Charles appeared to chuckle at something Trump said, before lowering his head and giving his nose a scratch ... with his middle finger.
The move has people across the globe talking. Innocent nose scratch or subtle bird flip?
Most people on Twitter seem to think Charles did in fact deliberately flip the bird.
Some have also suggested Charles was disgruntled after the Trumps reportedly left him and Camilla waiting for afternoon tea for nearly an hour. Prior to the reception at Buckingham Palace, Trump and Melania were expected at Clarence House for tea at 5.10 pm, however they didn't arrive until 6.05 pm.
This left just 15 minutes to squeeze in a photo and a quick cup of tea before all four were whisked away to Buckingham Palace.
Buckingham Palace, Clarence House or Donald Trump have not commented on the alleged bird flipping.
