A cannabis grower has been caught by police after displaying a huge plant in the front window of their home, which happens to be located on a main road.

Leicestershire Police in the UK noticed the massive cannabis plant while they were doing a routine patrol on the main thoroughfare outside.

It had been put there by the people who lived at the address in the English Midlands.

South Leics Police posted a photo of the plant on Twitter, accompanied with a hilarious caption.

“Tip of the day:- don’t grow cannabis in a window when you live on the main road & expect us not to notice," the post read.

The plant-filled almost the entire window space. It was so big light from the outside world struggled to shine through the window.

Police have not confirmed if the people at the home had been arrested or if the plant has been seized.
