Mother Located Hours After Newborn Baby Found Near Hospital
UPDATE: The mother of a newborn baby found abandoned near a hospital in Western Australia, has been located safe and well.
WA Police confirmed the mother was located around lunchtime on Sunday and that she was being taken to hospital for any medical attention required.
Earlier her newborn baby was discovered in Geraldton around 7 am and taken to hospital where it appeared to be in good health.
The baby, believed to be less than 24-hours-old, was found in front of the nurses' quarters, located across the road from the hospital.

Police said there were concerns for the mother of the child as she may require medical attention.
