Greg Page Leaves Hospital After Collapse At Wiggles Concert
Original yellow Wiggle Greg Page has been released from hospital five days after he collapsed on stage at a reunion concert in Sydney.
The Wiggles have updated fans on Page's recovery since the incident at Castle Hill RSL last Friday.
Page suffered a cardiac arrest just before the show's encore. The band were about to play 'Hot Potato' to 800 fans before Page collapsed as he left the stage.
The band's drummer Steve Pace and an off-duty nurse 'Grace' who had attended the concert as a fan rushed to keep him alive before he was taken to hospital.
On Wednesday the group tweeted to say Page had been discharged from hospital.
"Thank you all for your questions and concerns about Greg. We are happy to let you know that he has been discharged from hospital today and will now begin a journey of rest and recovery at home," the tweet read.
"Your thoughts and prayers for Greg have meant the world to him and his family, but moving forward, they ask for some privacy so Greg can focus on his recovery.
During Page's hospital stay, the band tweeted a photo of him smiling and delivering a thumbs-up from his bed.
The group said they would be giving Page privacy from here and wouldn't be providing any more updates on his recovery.
