Anne ‘Willsy’ Wills holds the record for the most Logies won by one person. Now she’s making room on her trophy shelf for a medal – an Order of Australia.

The 73-year-old has been recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for a media career spanning half a century.

She found fame as a weather presenter in the 1960s, before being sent to entertain Australian troops in Vietnam.

Willsy’s time in the spotlight is far from over. Next on her list: becoming the Governor of South Australia (just to throw the fabulous parties, of course).
