Talk about grape news!

For one weekend only, Clark Island – which is smack bang in the middle of Sydney Harbour -- will be devoted entirely to wine.

And not just any kind of wine, either. We’re talking top-of-the-range, new, funky and exciting wines that will tickle anyone’s fancy no matter what your taste.

They’re even catering for those rare creatures among us who like wine with a slew of beer, gin and cocktail options. How considerate?

It all stars off in a very organised and very fancy way, with everyone hopping on a ferry to which will take you out to the island and bring you right back in again.

Some of the wineries featured include Petaluma from South Australia, Watershed Wines from Western Australia, Tulloch Wines from New South Wales and Cloudy Bay from New Zealand.

Apart from just drinking the wines you can also learn about how they’re made, with the event holding a number of masterclasses, such as Hip Sips, which will turn you into a fancy-pants wine expert in no time at all.

There’s even a silent disco, so you can finally match that Sav Blanc to the perfect Nick Cave jam.

It's taking place from Friday 2nd November to Sunday 4th, and if you're keen head here  to grab some tix.
