'Spitting Image': Robert Irwin Looks Exactly Like Late Dad Steve In New Snap

Robert Irwin's Instagram followers were left double-taking at the wildlife warrior's latest photo, which many first believed to be late dad Steve.

The 16-year-old uploaded the sweet snap to his 1.9 million strong followers, which shows smiling with his eyes closed while cradling a koala with one arm.

With his blonde hair and trademark khakis, you'd be forgiven for believing the photograph was a throwback of the world's most famous croc hunter, who famously wore the same distinctive uniform.

The young Aussie's comments were almost immediately flooded with fans pointing out the pair's resemblance, with one saying, "You have never looked more like your father than you do in this picture. And your smile radiates that".

Another added, "Didn't look at the name on the shirt and honest to god thought I was looking at Steve".

Robert Irwin was just two-years-old when his father was killed by a stingray barb in a freak accident, however he -- along with sister Bindi and mum Terri -- has carried on Steve’s legacy by committing their lives to helping animals, with Robert also being a talented wildlife photographer.
